Our monitoring systems have detected a sharp increase in AI-generated phishing attacks targeting crypto wallets and online banking accounts this week. These are not simple email scams; they are highly sophisticated "Deepfake" voice phishing attempts.
Scammers are now using AI to clone the voices of family members or bank officials. They call victims demanding urgent transfers. Diagnosis: If you receive a frantic call for money, hang up and call the person back on their official number immediately.
We have identified over 50 new fake "verification" websites that look identical to legitimate exchanges. They ask you to connect your wallet to "verify" your identity, but instead, they drain your funds. Always check the URL twice.
